Surakarta — To strengthen the methodological foundation of doctoral students, the Doctoral Program (S-3) in Cultural Studies, Faculty of Humanities (FIB), Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS) conducted an expert lecture titled “Critical Methodology in Interdisciplinary Cultural Studies”.
Held at the Postgraduate Meeting Hall of FIB UNS, the academic session featured the Head of the Indonesian Cultural Studies Association (AKBI), Dr. Yuliawan Kasmahidayat, M.Hum., as the keynote speaker. In his lecture, he emphasized the importance of critical and cross-disciplinary approaches in dissecting increasingly complex contemporary cultural phenomena.
The expert lecture was attended by doctoral candidates and supervising faculty members, concluding with an interactive discussion on developing impactful doctoral dissertation proposals recognized internationally.
