SURAKARTA — The Doctoral Program (S-3) in Cultural Studies, Faculty of Cultural Sciences (FIB), Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS) has officially attained the prestigious “UNGGUL” (Excellence) Accreditation rating from the National Accreditation Board for Higher Education (BAN-PT). This institutional milestone is ratified by BAN-PT Executive Board Decree Number: 6409/SK/BAN-PT/Ak/D/V/2025, effective from May 6, 2025, through May 6, 2030.
The “Unggul” ranking reflects comprehensive quality across all tri-dharma dimensions of higher education within the program. Assessed parameters include the interdisciplinary Outcome-Based Education (OBE) curriculum, an exceptional academic faculty comprising 18 lecturers reinforced by 11 Professors across interdisciplinary humanities, a prolific track record of doctoral research publications in high-impact Scopus-indexed international journals, and modern doctoral research facilities.
